Did you see the news? The Left is trying to make it ILLEGAL to buy firearms to protect your family.

Just the other day, Nancy Pelosi’s Democrats, passed gun control bills (H.R. 8 and H.R. 1446) that threaten to dismantle the 2nd Amendment.

As freedom-loving Americans, we need to stop this unconstitutional gun grab before the Democrats completely erase the 2^nd Amendment!

H.R. 8 creates a FEDERAL GUN REGISTRY and criminalizes law-abiding Americans by expanding background checks for all firearm sales or transfers, including private transactions, while H.R. 1446 would PROHIBIT citizens from purchasing a firearm, INDEFINITELY.

This is not about gun safety, it’s about CONTROL and it’s a full-on socialist assault on our Constitutional Rights.

I’m Lt. Gen. Jack Bergman (U.S.M.C., Ret) and I represent Michigan’s 1^st Congressional District. As a 40-year Veteran of the United States Marine Corps and the highest-ranking combat Veteran serving in Congress, my oath to defend our nation didn’t end when I hung up my uniform.

I am deeply committed to defending America at home, just as I did overseas. I’ve witnessed friends die for this country, and they didn’t make the ultimate sacrifice so politicians trample on our Constitution without the consent of the people.

In January, I stood up and objected to the certification of the election results in my home state of Michigan because there were simply too many irregularities. Now I’m standing up and objecting to the liberal gun grab that will clearly make Americans less safe in their own homes.

I will never stop fighting for America, no matter what, and I will never stop doing the right things to uphold my oath of office and duty to the citizens of this nation.

Pelosi’s progressive policies are already defunding community policing and without legal firearms, Americans will be more susceptible to the growing threats we face from Antifa and BLM activists. This is not a drill, it is the reality we already face.

My ten grandchildren and your family deserve to live the American Dream free from the socialist tyranny some in our government seek to force upon us.

We shouldn’t have to BEG the federal government for permission to legally own a firearm, the Constitution already gave us permission.

The 2nd Amendment defends the 1st Amendment and all our Constitutional liberties.

I’ve drawn a line in the sand and I’m telling the liberals that “shall not be infringed” means “shall not be infringed.” If you agree, then chip in $35, $100 or even $1,000 TODAY and help me stop them from trampling on our 2A rights.

Our men and women who have died fighting for our country DID NOT make the ultimate sacrifice so that the radical left could fundamentally transform America into an unrecognizable nation governed by tyrannical socialists.

Our Constitution clearly requires politicians to seek the consent of the governed, and when it comes to the Second Amendment, we are not consenting to anything other than stopping the radical leftists who want to trample all over it.

Stand with me and protect these freedoms from the radical left before it’s too late!
